Ruff'n Ready Doodles will make every effort to guarantee that each puppy we sell is in good health at the time of adoption. All puppies will have a vet check, first set of vaccines, deworming program and microchip prior to adoption.
Puppies will be sold on a strict non-breeding contract. The said puppy, on which the Buyer has placed a deposit, is being sold as pet only. The puppy must be spayed/neutered by six months of age from date of birth and a copy of the spay/neuter certificate from a veterinarian must be provided to the Seller. If the said puppy is bred without permission from Ruff'n Ready Doodles, this contract is rendered null and void and becomes a breech of contract, thus leading to legal action with the monetary value of a breeding dog to be reimbursed to the Seller. Failure to comply to the spay/neuter surgery by a veterinarian performed at six months of age the Buyer will pay the Seller the monetary value in the amount of $10,000 Canadian dollars which is the value of the breeding dog plus court costs in Alberta. The Buyer agrees this amount is due to the Seller by the eighth month from the birth date of the dog. Any records of registration will be retained by the Seller which will effect the Buyer's ability to register the dog. If you are interested in breeding stock, please contact us for more information and pricing as this is a separate contract.
Any puppy being shipped must be a minimum of 9 weeks of age or as per flight regulations. All fees incurred for shipping are the full responsibility of the Buyer.
We guarantee our puppies up to 24 months of age, against any life threatening congenital defects affecting the dog's quality of life. The Breeder does not assume any liability for any injury to the puppy after the puppy leaves the breeder's home. The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within three days of delivery unless otherwise agreed upon. If the puppy is found to be other than healthy by the Buyer's veterinarian, the Breeder will pay veterinary expenses up to the cost of the price of the puppy, or the puppy shall be returned to the Breeder and the purchase price will be refunded.
Should the puppy be diagnosed with any life threatening medically derived medical disorder within 24 months of the puppy's date of birth, proven by two unassociated veterinarians, the Buyer and the Breeder will be entered into a puppy replacement agreement or compensation of purchase price of puppy based on the findings of the veterinary assessments of the individual dog. In the case of hip dysplasia, the findings must be documented through the OFA, and in the case of PRA the Buyer must provide documentation from a veterinary ophthalmologist. This health guarantee only covers veterinary-proven life threatening genetic defects and not environmental injury and/or nutritional deficits. It also does not cover any common diseases that your puppy can contract anywhere once the puppy has left our care, like, but not limited to Parvovirus, Giardia, Coccidia, Distemper and Kennel Cough. Any testings done by the Breeder to confirm a diagnosis will be deducted from the replacement refund if applicable.
The Buyer agrees to keep said dog under supervision or in a safe enclosed area when the dog is outside.
There are many factors that can influence the growth and development of a puppy such as diet, exercise, weight gain, and environmental stress. The Buyer agrees to continue with appropriate follow up and care as recommended by the Breeder.
Exercise must be monitored and limited during the first 12-18 months due to the growth of their muscles, bones and growth plates Long walks of several miles, repetitious jumping, agility, etc. can break down the puppy's hips causing non genetic hip dysplasia. In the first 12 months do not over exercise the puppy or encourage jumping from heights greater than that of the puppy.
If ever a replacement puppy is deemed necessary, we will do so out of our next available litter and the replacement puppy will be of comparable value to the originally purchased puppy. No monetary refund will be given at any time, unless otherwise agreed upon between the Buyer and Breeder. The Buyer agrees to maintain good health, provide training and professional training if required for behavioral issues, along with regular veterinary care for routine preventative health care. Veterinary records must be provided to the Breeder if requesting a refund or replacement.
The purchase guarantee will only apply to the said owner, no transfer of dog ownership will warrant this agreement unless specific situations arise and agreed prior to transfer with the Seller. If for any reason the Buyer should need to rehome their puppy/dog purchased from Ruff'n Ready Doodles the puppy/dog must be returned at the Buyer's expense. As responsible breeders, we want to ensure that all of our puppies are placed in forever homes. Any rehoming or reselling of our puppies is not permitted. The Breeder requests that any and all extraordinary health or behavioral issues be reported to the Breeder as soon as possible so that interventions can occur at the earliest time possible to prevent increasing severity.
The Breeder does not warranty allergies which are increasing amongst canines in general, or cosmetic dental procedures, as we are diligent to diagnose under bites and base narrow canine issues by 8 weeks.
The Breeder neither makes nor implies any warranties or guarantees expressed or implied other than those in the said agreement. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Buyer and the
Breeder with respect to this sale. The Buyer's signature below indicates that he/she has read, agrees to and comprehends all conditions of this Contract of Sale.
If we at Ruff'n Ready Doodles feel at any time we do not have a suitable puppy match for a family we may terminate the contract by way of refunding the deposit or give the option to choose from an upcoming litter this will be made at our discretion.
We at Ruff'n Ready Doodles will make every effort to estimate the color, and the size of the puppy based on past litters and size of the parents. We do not and cannot guarantee the size, color, temperament, and/or non-shedding of the hybrid puppy.
A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required in order to ensure a puppy is held for you. The order of choosing a puppy will fall in accordance once your deposit is accepted, and this deposit is then applied to your purchase price. The balance will be due the week the puppies go to their new families.
